I’m not about fancy gifts and expensive things. In fact, lately I’m trying to minimize all the “things” in my life.

So, for holidays and birthdays I truly enjoy things that enrich my life, lift my soul, and help bring me more joy. Having said that, those things are hard to come by.

I’ve made a list of my personal Mother’s Day list, and honestly, I’d buy these things any day of the year because they are just THAT good.

Motherhood Affirmation Cards– I searched long and hard to find something like these and have  LOVED them. I start every day with an affirmation card. It helps set the tone and fills my heart with something meaningful before I get caught up in the chaos of it all.

happy mom

This book is amazing and so well written. Reading books like this has changed my life, truly. I feel more normal, I feel validated, and I feel encouraged to be the best version of myself as a mom when reading this book. I would encourage any mom to read it.

When it comes to the way I talk to my kids, I know every word is important. This book is SO great to outline all the right ways to talk to my kids without having to nag, scream, remind, or yell. Having a more peaceful home with more cooperation is invaluable to me.

This may sound silly, but I call this my happy juice. I don’t typically purchase things from multi level marketing places, but this is an exception I’m willing to make, because it really does help. I carry a bottle with me wherever I go and roll it on my wrists whenever I know I need an extra dose of calmness and peace. Maybe it’s all in my head, or maybe not. If nothing else, it really smells good.

Short and sweet but absolutely my favorites. This truly is my wishlist for Mother’s Day.

What’s on your list?
